WEAPONS
auger
Another benefit is that the shield will hurt any enemy who passes through it.
carbine
it takes 11 headshots to kill someone with the carbine.
shotgun
Press L1 to discharge both barrels. This method is less efficient than firing the barrels individually, but using it effectively can sometimes mean the difference between life and death. The double barrel is most effective for pop out shots or jumping down on an enemy close up while if you have some distance apart you might want to shoot off a single barrel or two before the double barrel.
Sniper
The directional button controls- Up= zoom in, Down= zoom out, Right= auto zoom maximum, Left= auto zoom minimum. Also if you tap L1 once it zooms in 1/3, if you tap L1 twice it zooms to 2/3, and if you tap it three times it zooms to the maximum
hit him with a melee attack first, because the sniper rifle does more frontal melee damage than any other weapon.
bullseye
Their is also a bullseye trap you can also do by setting a tag holding down L1 and shooting 25 shots out and the bullets will hover around the tag until a enemy runs through it or you tag it to an enemy which is very lethal btwADDED TIP: Bullseye Bomb: If you tag a floor, wall, etc. and hold L1 to create the trap, shoot some rounds into the trap, then let go of L1 the trap will explode after a few seconds sending the shots that were in the trap in all directions (like a hedgehog grenade). ADDED TIP: When you are running together in a group in a team deathmatch shoot one of your opponents with the Bullseye tag and load it up with bullets. When you run into an enemy shoot them with the tag and they will die instantly. It is nice because you can run around and have a your own portable death tag running beside you instead of shooting the ground and having to just stand there and wait for an enemy to come by
arc charger
When you come to an opponent Shoot them once with R1 then simultaneously hit them again 2 more times with the L1 trigger(If its only 1 enemy than use R1) and your opponent and any near by enemies will die
ADDED TIP: With the Arc Charger, hit one of the dead bodies with L1 once more and it will kill the guy coming up in just one shot (must have 2 dead bodies there for it to be a 1 hit kill). It works because it'll arc through the dead bodies first and then to the living guy. This works great in Nottingham Meltdowns where you can hide behind the wall and wait for someone to come up as they usually bring help.
Dragon
Best at short range and against Chimera as they overheat
ADDED TIP: If you create an auger shield then quickly launch a vapor cloud(dragon's secondary fire) onto the shield , you can make a floating wall of fire , which is especially helpful for blocking entrances.ADDED TIP: When you're charging your alternate fire and you see no enemies in your range and you dont wanna use your alternate fire...simple press triangle (melee button) and lay off the L1 key and the dragon chemical units will go back to its original place..
Melee Kill
Range - Up close (duh)
Effectiness - Pretty Damaging almost as good as head shot, but can be difficult to pull off
Technique (from LordYod / Dragongamer) - To get a stealth kill, approach your enemy from directly behind and whack him without him seeing you. If you do it right, it will be a one-hit kill, and you'll get both 'Stealth Kill' and 'Melee Kill' ribbons.
Also - when meleeing from behind, try and aim up a little bit to get them in the head.
Look speed tips.
Go to online play, then go to control settings, Then switch your look sensitivity to a 1 and hit save/load control settings. Go down to user config. A and save the setting by hitting square. Then go to look sensitivity 2 and then hit square and hit square to save/load and go down to user config. B and save it. Reapeat process through all 7 look sensitivity and then go ingame and hit the start button go down to controls and scroll down to user config. and pick out what sensitivity you would like for the situation your in whether it be low for sniping/carbine headshot accuracy or high for air vents. You can easily switch your look speed while ingame this way. Using higher look speeds is more effective with grenade throwing while lower look speeds are better for headshot accuracy and sniping. Keep in mind though, you want to be able to aim and shoot at a good speed for you, when you hit the air vents. Especially on hangar/bus yard/thames
